Northridge Village Is Adding Memory Care

AMES, Iowa – Northridge Village, a continuing care retirement community in Ames, IA, is proud to announce they will soon be able to offer assisted living memory care.

This service will be offered in a new, 16-unit building on the Northridge Village campus; the building construction is tentatively scheduled for August, 2019. This construction will not cause any delays in the regular services offered by Northridge Village.

Northridge Village offers four levels of living: independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. Memory care is a distinct form of long-term care that specifically caters to patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other types of memory loss.

Executive Director Gregg Hanson of Northridge Village says, “We’re excited to be able to offer memory care to the Ames’ residents. We will be focused on providing our memory care residents the greatest care and service possible.”
